Senior Contracts Administrator
Reporting to the Project services manager, based in Perth, working closely with the Project/Operations Team. The role is initially a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential for extension.
The Senior Contracts Administrator will be responsible for providing support to the project teams to assist in the effective administration of their head contracts during both pre-and post-contract state. Ensuring changes are identified, notified and details submitted in accordance with the Project Service Manager contract requirements.
Job requirements
Developing technical knowledge, establishing and monitoring contract systems and managing relationships with external stakeholders and:
- Review, draft and issue contracts for Projects
- Work collaboratively with commercial, projects and operations teams throughout the contracting strategy.
- Managing and liaise with legal regarding all contracts.
- Effective ability to negiotate and execute contracts
- Maintain the integrity of contract information and coordinate all aspects of the contract administration process, in accordance with approved Compliance with Procurement and Contracts Standard, to meet Resolute’s needs.
- Provide expert advice on contract conditions and administration to procurement, legal professionals and project team to support informed decision making and improve future contract outcomes
- roactively identify, manage and advise on commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical and supply chain risks associated with the contract, to enable the organisation to attain maximum value from the contract while meeting compliance requirements
- Provision of high quality advice and contract planning support.
- Assistance with ensuring compliance with the Procurement and Contracts Standard, particularly in relation to ensuring that:
- risks are minimised if deviations from Resolute’s standard terms and conditions are required; and
all contracts are duly executed in accordance with the Procurement and Contracts Standard.
Formal Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification (Quantity Surveying, Construction Management & Economics) or highly experience in contract management (+10 years)
